ScarFix M.D.A. gradually reduces scars. The latter is the synthesis and the climax of what we have created. It is all about pairing our two flagship products (ScarFix Gel and Occlugel, which holds a world patent) for greater efficiency and increased ease of use. ScarFix M.D.A. is defined in terms of its name’s meaning as a Double Action Medical Gel.

Scarfix M.D.A. is a skin care system designed to progressively reduce unsightly scars resulting from surgery, wounds, burns, tattoo removal, laser treatments, dermabrasion, acids, acne cysts and more.

The ScarFix M.D.A. System

A unique system consists of 2 products, ScarfixTM/MC Gel and ScarfixTM/MC OccluGel (patented), designed to work together.

The two elements of the Scarfix M.D.A.TM/MC System

1) Gel – ScarfixTM/MC Gel gradually reduces scars and enhances the appearance of the skin. The application of ScarfixTM/MC Gel restores elasticity to the skin and allows the scar to be more supple. A dermal repair treatment that helps to smooth and soften scars and reduces redness and discoloration of the skin. Scarfix TM/MC Gel is also effective against couperose. ScarfixTM/MC Gel synergizes by combining biotechnology with plant extracts and trace elements.

2) OccluGelTM/MC – OccluGel Scarfix TM/MC is composed mainly of Pullulan, an ingredient with exceptional occlusive properties (compared to cellophane, polyester, polypropylene, etc.). Pullulan is an innovative natural polysaccharide.

On drying, OccluGel ScarfixTM/MC creates an excellent, transparent, very thin, invisible protective film with outstanding adhesion properties, highly impermeable to oxygen and a flexible microfibre structure that can be adapted to all scar anatomies (shapes).

OccluGelTM/MC is heat stable, biocompatible, non-toxic, non-mutagenic, odourless, water soluble and has an antistatic film.

Instructions for use

Scarfix M.D.A.TM/MC Gel – Every morning and evening, wash the scar well with soap and water, then dry. Apply a thin layer of gel to cover the entire scar, plus one (1) cm around it. Gently massage the gel into the skin. Once the gel is dry, sunscreen and/or make-up can be applied if necessary. Redness will disappear with the use of M.D.A.TM/MC Scarfix Gel. The gel will dissolve easily the next time you wash your face as it is water soluble.

*Never apply M.D.A. TM/MC Scarfix Gel to an open or oozing wound.

*Start your treatment as soon as possible, and as soon as the wound heals, as the results will be better.

*Daily use of the Scarfix M.D.A.TM/MC system is a prerequisite for an optimal result.

Scarfix M.D.A. TM/MC gel is a superior alternative to silicone sheets. It is easier to use, adapts to all scar shapes, offers greater occlusivity and is more hygienic.

Scarfix M.D.A. TM/MC versus silicone sheets

*The patented use of Pullulan in Scarfix M.D.A.TM/MC provides significantly greater occlusivity (oxygen impermeability) than silicone sheets or gel silicone.

*Scarfix M.D.A.TM/MC uses a vacuum pump to dispense its gel, ensuring aseptic product every time it is used, something that multi-purpose silicone sheets, despite being cleaned with soap and water, cannot guarantee.

*When used repeatedly, the silicone sheets can disintegrate and require assistance to hold them in place (medical tape, tight-fitting garment, etc.). Scarfix M.D.A.TM/MC has exceptional adhesion properties, is very comfortable and can easily cover all types of scars, regardless of their location on the body (elbow, knee, face, eyelid, etc.). Silicone sheets cannot offer such versatility of application.

*The use of M.D.A.TM/MC Scarfix Gel offers the most aesthetically pleasing and discreet process on the market. Once applied to the skin and dry, M.D.A.TM/MC Scarfix Gel allows sunscreen and/or make-up without any problem.

Duration of treatment

The Scarfix M.D.A.TM/MC system improves the appearance of scars that can be seen after 2-8 weeks! All scars can be treated regardless of age; however, the older the scar (20 to 30 years), the longer the treatment will take. The length of treatment varies from person to person. The age of the scar, the age of the person, the type of skin and other factors can influence the length of the treatment. It is recommended that the treatment be done every day.

Warning

Never apply M.D.A.TM/MC Scarfix Gel to an open or seeping wound. Some people may develop skin irritation as a result of using M.D.A.TM/MC Scarfix Gel. If this occurs, discontinue these products immediately for 2 to 3 days. Repeat the treatment, and if irritation persists, consult a physician. Made for external use only.
